FLI Scholarships

Support Family Law Attorneys

FLI is committed to assuring diversity in its membership, including attorneys whose practices provide services primarily to low income populations; LGBT communities in hostile states/areas; and LGBT communities in areas without significant numbers of lawyers experienced in LGBT family law and allied practices.

In order to assist in maintaining this type of diversity, NCLR and FLI work together to provide scholarships appropriate to allow lower income lawyers and lawyers in underserved/hostile communities to attend FLI meetings.

Scholarship requests should be submitted to Cathy Sakimura at csakimura@nclrights.org. All requests will be held in confidence. Scholarships are granted on a rolling basis, so the earlier the request is made, the more opportunities there may be for funds to be allocated.
