2020 New York Out & Proud Corporate Counsel Award Reception
Stephen Simcock started his career as an associate in the banking regulatory and insurance groups at Semmes, Bowen & Semmes in Baltimore, Maryland. He later held a series of positions at First Nationwide Mortgage Corporation, including General Counsel and Executive Vice President for Compliance. He joined Citigroup, Inc. when Citi acquired First Nationwide in 2002, as GC of Citimortgage, Inc. At Citi, Stephen held a series of GC positions in their Commercial Banking Business, North American Retail Bank, International Consumer Group, and EMEA Consumer Group and Private Bank. During his last three years at Citi, Stephen was the GC of their Global Consumer Bank which operated in over 40 countries.
Stephen currently serves as the General Counsel of Chase’s Consumer and Community Banking businesses.
