Skip Horne

Skip Horne previously served as the Director, Graduate and International Programs at the University of San Diego School of Law. Prior to joining USD, he was a Global Recruiting Manager for Latham & Watkins, supporting the firm’s diversity recruiting, law school and LLM outreach, and international hiring efforts. Previously, he was the Assistant Dean for Law Career Services at Santa Clara University School of Law and Director of Career Services at The University of Texas School of Law, where he also founded and served as the first director of UT’s Public Interest Law Center. Skip was President of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) in 2002-03, served on the Board of Directors for four years, and has been active in numerous Committees and Sections over the years. In addition, he has the honor of being the association’s first openly gay President. For over 13 years, he has worked closely with the National LGBT Bar Association, including several terms as NALP liaison to the organization and as the National LGBT Bar Foundation Board President. He received his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and his BSFS from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
