Patrick O’Brien

Patrick O’Brien is a second-year law student at SUNY Buffalo Law School. Originally from New Jersey, Patrick graduated cum laude from Binghamton University in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in English Literature. Prior to law school, Patrick has held legal internships with the Department of Social Services, as well as a District Attorney’s Office. In addition to legal experience, his non-profit LGBT experience has been with the “M4 Project” division within the Southern Tier Aids Program of New York.

Currently, he is President of OUTLaw at SUNY Buffalo Law School, as well as a Director for the class of 2017 within the Student Bar Association. He is also Co-Editor-in-Chief of The Opinion, the independent student publication of SUNY Buffalo Law School. Patrick is a 1L LCLD Scholar (Leadership Council on Legal Diversity) and he will be working at Prudential Financial Inc., in Newark, New Jersey this summer.
